Endgame: The Calling


I joined the Niantic art team at Google to help develop several new location based games they were working on. The first was 'Endgame the calling' based on the book by James Frey. We had many original characters and weapon designs to create for the game in a very short amount of time. I created over 60 weapon and artifact concepts for the game and several of the in-game characters. 
To help overcome our time crunch and a lack of internal resources, I developed an asset pipeline using Substance designer which we had our outsource companies adopt. With Substance, changes and tweaks were a breeze and the resulting assets looked really great in Unity. 

I was also responsible for supervising the production of all 25 characters and 85 assets for the game at the outsourcing studio providing art direction and feedback on a daily basis via email and video conference to the teams in China, Vietnam and Southern California.
