MechaHamster (2017)

In the depths of space on top secret space station a crazed scientist is genetically engineering hamster super soldiers. When a freak Zootonium shower frys the circuits of the stations security system, turning it on the inhabitants, it's up to Major Hammy 'D' Hamster to save the day in his high tech hamster ball.

MechaHamster is a cross platform (iOS and Android) mobile game built to showcase the Firebase Unity SDKs, a small team consisting of myself and one engineer built the game using my original art and design. I felt the rolling ball mechanic from old wooden labyrinth games would be perfect for a mobile game - utilizing the accelerometer to guide the ball around.

I was also the Project manager for MechaHamster guiding the game through each stage of Google's comprehensive launch process, filing bugs and running performance tests. Unfortunately due to time constraints and the size of the team only about a quarter of the content I built and planned game design found its way into the final game.

You can download MechaHamster for free from the Google Play Store and the App Store
